Sue'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    6 c. flour, sifted
    2 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 1 c. lukewarm water
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Melt the first 3 ingredients over low heat and add 1 teaspoon salt.
    When stove mixture is cool, add eggs.
    Beat them; add yeast.
    Pour over flour and mix well.
    Set aside until doubled in bulk, 2 or 3 hours.
    This mixture will keep in the refrigerator up to a week if mashed down every day.
