Cold Oven Pound Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream margarine, shortening and sugar until creamy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour and salt alternately with milk and vanilla.
    Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake in oven 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Remember to start cake in cold oven.
