Strawberry Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large strawberry Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
2 cartons frozen strawberries
1 small flat can crushed pineapple
1 c. chopped pecans
1 large sour cream (optional)

Preparation

In a mixing bowl, dissolve strawberry Jell-O in boiling water. Add thawed strawberries, pineapple and pecans.
Mix well.
Pour 1/2 of mixture into an 8 x 12-inch or 9 x 13-inch container. Refrigerate until set.
Spread softened sour cream over set mixture.
Pour on remaining mixture.
Let set, then enjoy!
(If not using sour cream, pour in pan all mixture and set.)
