Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 c. fresh apples, cut in small cubes
1 c. raisins
1 tsp. soda
3 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
3 scant c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Mix the first 4 ingredients by hand until smooth.
Add apples, raisins, soda, vanilla, pecans, flour, salt and cinnamon.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes in a long pan (12 x 9-inch).
