White Loaf Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 c. warm water
    1 pkg. yeast
    6 to 6 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Heat milk to boiling, stir in sugar, salt and margarine.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Pour warm water into 3-quart bowl and sprinkle in yeast; stir until dissolved.
    Add lukewarm milk mixture and 3 cups flour and beat until smooth;
    add remainder of flour to make soft dough.
    Turn out on lightly floured board and knead until smooth and elastic.
    Place in greased bowl and brush top with melted margarine.
    Cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk, about 2 hours.
    Punch down.
    Turn out on lightly floured board and divide in half.
    Form each into a smooth ball.
    Place in greased loaf pans; cover and let rise 2 hours.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 about 50 minutes.
