Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sirloin tips, cut in strips
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 large green pepper, sliced in thin rings
    1 clove garlic, halved
    2 Tbsp. fat
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 beef bouillon cube
    cooked noodles
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 c. hot water
Preparation
    Brown meat slowly in hot fat about 15 minutes.
    Add onion and garlic the last few minutes.
    Season with salt and pepper. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water.
    Add to meat.
    Cover and simmer until almost tender (20 to 25 minutes).
    Add tomatoes and green pepper.
    Cook 10 minutes longer.
    Combine cornstarch, cold water and soy sauce.
    Stir into meat mixture.
    Bring to boil.
    Cook and stir 5 minutes longer.
    Remove garlic.
    Serve with hot noodles. Makes 4 servings.
