Refrigerated Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. cabbage, shredded
    1 onion, shredded
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Shred cabbage and onion together.
    Combine remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
    Pour boiling liquid over cabbage mixture.
    Cover and let stand 3 hours.
    Refrigerate.
    Will keep up to 5 to 6 weeks in refrigerator.
