Dilly Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. cottage cheese
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 or 2 tsp. minced onion
1 egg (unbeaten)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. dill seed or dry dill weed
2 1/4 c. flour or more (up to 2 1/2 days)
Preparation

Fix yeast, first, by combining it in a bowl with the 1/4 cup of warm water.
Soak for 5 minutes.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl, adding the yeast and flour to make a stiff dough.
Work well; cover.
Let rise until double in size, 30 to 60 minutes. Work down; put in a greased 8-inch loaf pan.
Let rise until light.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Butter the top with soft butter.
Sprinkle with salt.
