Sally'S Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. (1/2 c.) butter (room temperature)
    1/3 c. crunchy or creamy peanut butter
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 large eggs
    1 pie shell (9-inch), baked or graham cracker (Keebler is good!)
Preparation
    Combine butter, sugar, peanut butter and vanilla.
    Mix well. Add 1 egg and beat 5 minutes.
    Add 2nd egg and beat 5 minutes more.
    Pour into pie shell and top with chopped, salted peanuts. (Looks good with chocolate shavings, too!)
    Serve with whipped cream and/or hot fudge sauce.
    Serves 8.
