Scalloped Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large sweet potato, peeled and sliced
    1 large apple, peeled and sliced
    1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
    1/3 c. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. chopped pecans
Preparation
    In a greased 1-quart baking dish, layer half the sweet potato slices, apple slices and crumbs. Repeat layers. Pour corn syrup over top and sprinkle with salt. Dot with butter and sprinkle with nuts. Cover and bake at 400\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
