Noodle Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 lb. lean boneless chuck, cut in 2-inch strips
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1 beef bouillon cube
    salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. garlic powder
    water
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. plain yogurt
    8 oz. medium egg noodles (4 c.)
Preparation
    In
    large
    skillet,
    melt
    butter over medium heat; add beef and brown on all sides.
    Stir in onion and cook 1 minute. Add bouillon
    cube,
    1/4 teaspoon salt, pepper, garlic powder and 1 cup water.
    Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Blend
    flour and 2 tablespoons water to make a smooth paste; stir into skillet.
    Cook until sauce thickens.
    Stir in yogurt;
    remove from
    heat.
    While beef is cooking, gradually add noodles
    and 1 tablespoon salt to 3 quarts rapidly boiling water.
    Cook uncovered,
    stirring occasionally, until tender. Drain
    in colander.
    Serve noodles with beef and sauce.
    Makes 4 servings.
