Apple Blondies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine, softened
    2 c. packed dark brown sugar
    4 eggs
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    2 large firm apples (Golden Delicious or Granny Smith)
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease and lightly flour 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Combine butter and sugar in large bowl of electric mixer. Beat on low speed until well combined, about 2 minutes.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time, until very creamy.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Sift flour, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg together onto a sheet of waxed paper.
    Sift again.
    Add flour mixture into butter mixture. Combine on low speed.
    Core apples; don't peel.
    Coarsely chop. Fold apples into batter with walnuts and chocolate chips.
    Put into pan.
    Bake 30 minutes.
    Cool and cut.
