Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    4 tsp. salt (rounded)
    water to make 1 qt.
    1 pt. water
    3 Tbsp. yeast
    13 c. flour
Preparation
    In a 1-quart measuring container, put in sugar, shortening and salt.
    Fill with water to make 1 quart.
    Mix 1 pint of water and yeast.
    Add to rest of mixture and let set until it foams.
    Add 6 cups flour and let rise.
    Add 7 cups flour and knead 3 minutes. Let rise 2 times.
    Put in pans and let rise again.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yields 4 loaves.
