Caramel Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. oatmeal
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    dash of salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. melted margarine
    48 caramels
    10 Tbsp. half and half
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix flour, oatmeal, sugar, salt, soda and margarine.
    Divide mixture in half.
    Use 1/2 for bottom crust.
    Pat into pan and bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Melt caramels and milk.
    Spread this on baked crust and sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top. Top with remaining crust mixture.
    Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
