Creamed Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 stick butter
1/2 pt. whipping cream
4 oz. jar chopped pimento
2 c. chicken stock
1/2 c. flour
1 small can mushrooms, sliced
salt to taste
1 chicken, cut up
Preparation

Boil chicken until done; reserve stock.
Take meat off bones. Melt butter in heavy skillet.
Add flour, stirring until smooth; do not brown.
Add whipping cream and chicken stock, stirring constantly, so mixture will not lump.
Add mushrooms, pimento, chicken and salt.
Simmer for about 4 or 5 minutes.
Serve on hot toast, English muffins, rice or Chinese noodles.
