Citrus Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. citric acid (may be purchased at most drug stores)
    1 c. cold water
    1 (46 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple juice
    1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    2 qt. cold water
    1 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    Combine citric acid and 1 cup of cold water; refrigerate overnight.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Makes 5 quarts of punch and serves 25 people.
