Quiche Lorraine(Serves 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, whipped
    1 pt. light cream
    1/2 c. Swiss cheese, grated
    salt, pepper, cayenne pepper to taste
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. diced ham
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. fried crisp bacon, crumbled
    1/2 c. diced Swiss cheese
    9-inch pie shell (deep dish)
Preparation
    Mix eggs, cream, grated cheese and seasonings.
    Saute onions and ham in butter.
    Add bacon and diced cheese and spread evenly in bottom of pastry shell.
    Pour egg mixture over ham mixture and fill to brim of shell.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until set.
