Surprise Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    48 Hershey's Kisses candies (unwrapped)
    1 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. all-purpose or whole wheat flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar and vanilla.
    Mix in flour and salt until dough holds together.
    Work enough dough around each Hershey's Kiss, completely covering it, and form into a 1-inch ball.
    Place about 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake until set but not brown, 10 to 12 minutes.
    Roll in powdered sugar while warm; cool.
    Roll in powdered sugar again.
    Yield: about 4 dozen cookies.
