Peach Pie Alaska - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (any flavor or sugar-free; orange or peach is best)
1 (9-inch) pie crust, baked and cooled, or ready-to-use graham cracker crust
2/3 c. boiling water
1 c. vanilla ice cream
1 c. fresh diced peaches
3 1/2 c. Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add ice cream by spoonfuls. Stir until melted and smooth.
Blend in whipped topping and fruit. Chill, if necessary, until mixture will mound.
Spoon into crust. Chill until set (about 3 hours) or freeze until firm.
Garnish with peach slices.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
