Easy Cherry-Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 c. chopped nuts
    3/4 c. cut-up candied cherries
    3 c. packaged biscuit mix
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 10 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    In large mixing bowl, stir together sugar, egg, milk, nuts and cherries.
    Add biscuit mix; beat briskly 30 seconds (just count to 30).
    Turn into pan.
    Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
    (There will be a slight crack in top.) Cool slightly before slicing.
