Ingredients

1 loaf bread (26 to 28-inch long and 2-inches wide)
1 1/2 c. milk
4 large eggs
1/4 c. orange juice
1/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. orange liqueur (optional)
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Arrange bread in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Beat ingredients until well blended and sugar is dissolved.
Pour over bread.
Cover and refrigerate at least one hour and can be 24 hours, allowing bread to soak up liquid.
Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Lightly grease a jelly roll pan and transfer bread, making sure slices don't touch.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until puffed and lightly browned.
Dust with confectioners sugar and serve immediately.
