Carrot Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oleo
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, slightly beaten with 1 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 c. grated carrots
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream oleo with sugar.
    Add egg and water, then the carrots. Sift together the dry ingredients and add to cream mixture.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Spoon into greased 6 to 8-cup ring mold.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for about 40 minutes.
    This is a good dish to serve with meats.
    Serves 6.
