Thick French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. whole milk
3 eggs (can use egg substitute)
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
4 slices bakery white bread (3/4 to 1-inch thick)
Preparation
In a small bowl, beat eggs (or substitute), milk, sugar and salt until smooth and blended.
Arrange the bread in a single layer in a 9-inch square baking dish.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread, turning each slice to coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate the dish with the bread and egg mixture overnight. (This overnight refrigeration step is extremely important for success because it gives all the good bacteria time to work.)
The next morning, saute the bread in a skillet
    until it is golden brown.
This takes about 2 minutes per side.
