Dutch Apple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium all-purpose apples, pared, cored and sliced
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. cold margarine or butter
    1 1/2 c. biscuit baking mix
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    vanilla ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    In medium bowl, combine apples, sweetened condensed milk and cinnamon; set aside.
    In large bowl, cut 1/2 cup margarine into 1 cup biscuit mix and sugar.
    Cut in remaining 2 tablespoons margarine until crumbly.
    Add nuts. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture.
    Bake 1 hour or until golden. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
