Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 pieces round or cube steak
1/2 c. flour
1 medium onion
1 small bell pepper
1 can sliced mushrooms
1 large can tomato sauce
salt and pepper
1/4 c. Crisco oil
Preparation

Salt and pepper pieces of steak and coat with flour.
Brown in oil and drain on paper.
Put steak in casserole dish and cover with layers of sliced onions, peppers and mushrooms.
Cover with tomato sauce and bake, covered, in a 325\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes. Serves 6.
