Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 egg, separated
3 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
Preparation

Combine butter, sugar, egg yolks and salt; beat until creamy. Stir in flour and cinnamon; mix well.
Spread thick batter in a greased 15 x 10-inch pan.
Beat egg white until foamy.
Stir in powdered sugar; brush this over batter.
Sprinkle nuts over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cut while hot into bars or squares.
Remove from pan and cool.
