Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. shelled pecans
Preparation

Chop the pecans.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
In a large pan, mix all dry ingredients, fruit and nuts, then add gradually to batter.
Put in pan with buttered paper in the bottom and pack well.
Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 hours or more.
