Christmas Hard Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. white Karo syrup
    3/4 c. water
Preparation
    Heat and stir until dissolved.
    Boil to 300\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and add 1 dram of flavoring and food coloring desired.
    Pour on powdered sugar coated cookie sheet.
    Break up when cool.
