Herbed Ham Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    hostess ham
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tsp. basil flakes
Preparation
    Soak ham in cold water overnight.
    Drain. Add fresh water and boil 20 minutes per pound. Remove from broth.
    Cool 5 to 10 minutes. Trim off skin, leaving fat.
    Brush with dark corn syrup and bake 20 minutes or until brown.
