Spiced Holiday Tea - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
5 tea bags
1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate, plus 1 can water
4 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
4 c. water
5 cinnamon sticks
1 Tbsp. whole cloves
lemon slices or cinnamon sticks (optional garnish)
Preparation

Bring the 7 cups of water and the sugar to boil in a large saucepan; cook until the sugar dissolves.
Add the tea bags. Remove from the heat and steep for 5 minutes; remove the tea bags. Add the orange juice concentrate and 1 can of water and the lemon juice.
In a separate pan, combine the 4 cups of water, the cinnamon sticks and the cloves.
Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes. Strain and add to the tea mixture.
Serve hot, garnished with lemon slices or cinnamon sticks.
Yields 3 1/4 quarts.
