Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1/2 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. celery
    1/3 c. margarine
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. salt
    4 c. chopped chicken
Preparation
    Saute onion, celery and carrots in margarine for 10 minutes. Add flour to mixture, stirring well.
    Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Combine broth and milk; stir in gradually.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly.
    Add chicken, salt and pepper.
    Pour into 2-quart casserole.
    Top with Pastry.
    Cut slits in top to let steam escape.
    Place Pastry also in casserole before adding filling.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
