Pear Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck pears
    6 large onions
    6 red sweet peppers
    6 green sweet peppers
    1 bunch celery
    3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    5 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. allspice
Preparation
    Wash first 5 ingredients in cold water.
    Peel and core the pears.
    Remove stem and seeds from the peppers.
    Clean the celery, peel the onion and put them through a food chopper.
    Then add sugar, salt, vinegar and allspice.
    Mix and let stand overnight. Pack in preheated jars.
    Process 20 minutes in hot water bath at simmering temperature.
