Pear-Pecan Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. chopped fresh pears
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time. Add flour, cinnamon and buttermilk. Stir in pears, pecans and vanilla. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 1 loaf.
