Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. thinly sliced, unpeeled zucchini squash, cooked and drained
    2 slightly beaten egg yolks
    1 c. dairy sour cream
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    6 slices bacon, cooked crisp
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/4 c. crushed crackers
Preparation
    Salt squash to taste.
    Mix first 3 ingredients.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Lay 1/2 of the squash, egg mixture and cheese in a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Crumble bacon and sprinkle on top of that and repeat layers.
    Mix butter and crumbs and sprinkle on top of that.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
