Corn On The Cob With Seasoned Dipping Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 ears fresh corn (unhusked)
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
4 green onions, minced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried thyme, crumbled
1 bay leaf, crumbled
1/2 c. dry white wine
1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
Preparation

Cover corn with cold water in large bowl and soak overnight. Prepare barbecue (low heat).
Grill corn until cooked, approximately 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt butter in heavy medium saucepan over low heat.
Add green onions, garlic, salt, thyme and bay leaf and stir for 5 minutes.
Add wine and lemon juice and cook 2 minutes.
Transfer sauce to bowl.
Serves 4.
