Chocolate Crunch Pie - cooking recipe

1 pkg. chocolate pudding (instant)
1 c. cold milk
3 1/2 c. (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
20 Oreo cookies, crushed
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
1 (6 oz.) chocolate crumb crust
Preparation

Prepare pudding with 1 cup milk according to package.
Fold in whipped topping.
Stir in 1 cup chocolate chips and cookies into pudding.
Spoon into pie crust.
Sprinkle with remaining cookies. Freeze until firm, 4 hours or overnight.
Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes before serving.
Store leftovers in the freezer.
