Blueberry Cheese Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup pecans (divided use)
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup flake coconut
2 packages (8 oz.) cream cheese
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 cups blueberries
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup water
Preparation

Combine flour and brown sugar.
Cut in margarine until fine crumbs form.
Add 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts and coconut.
Remove 1/2 cup and set aside.
Press remaining crumbs in bottom of greased 13x9 pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla in small bowl until smooth. Spread over hot baked crust.
Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer.
Mix sugar, cornstarch and add water gradually.
Stir in blueberries and mix until thickened.
Spread over cream cheese. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top.
Bake an additional 10-15 minutes.
