Mystery Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 (3 oz.) can fruit cocktail
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift the first 4 ingredients together.
    Add the remaining ingredients.
    Pour into greased 13 x
    9-inch pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup chopped nuts over top. Bake 45 minutes at 325\u00b0.
