Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. raw shelled peanuts
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 c. water
Preparation
    In heavy sauce pan, over medium heat, bring to boil sugar, corn syrup, salt and 1/4 c. water, stirring frequently until it reaches 300\u00b0.
    Remove from heat and quickly stir in butter and baking soda.
    Immediately pour onto greased cookie sheet.
    With two forks, lift and pull peanut brittle mixture into about 14 x 12 inch rectangle.
    Cool.
    With hand shape candy into pieces.
