Rumaki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chicken livers
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. sugar
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1/2 to 1 lb. bacon
Preparation
    Bake livers at 300\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Cool and cut in halves. Combine soy sauce, ginger and sugar; marinate livers for 30 minutes.
    Cut bacon in half or thirds and wrap around liver and water chestnuts and fasten with toothpicks.
    Broil until bacon is crisp, 4 inches from broiler.
    Makes approximately 3 dozen.
