"Shoney'S" Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (9-inch) pie crusts
    1 1/2 c. strawberries, sliced
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    8 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 large pkg. strawberry jello
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cook pie crust as instructed.
    Let cool.
    Place strawberries in cool crust.
    Cook sugar, water and starch until thick.
    Add jello.
    Mix well.
    Cool before pouring over strawberries. Refrigerate.
    Add Cool Whip before serving.
