No Fail Pastry Shells - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. plain flour (unsifted)
    1 1/4 c. shortening
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    8 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation
    Cut together flour, salt and shortening.
    Mix together vinegar, egg and water.
    Beat with fork and pour over flour mixture.
    Mixture should be sticky/soft.
    Divide into 3 parts. Roll out on lightly floured surface.
    Makes 3 (9-inch) pie crusts. Bake at 450\u00b0 until brown, about 10 minutes.
