Billie-Jo'S Saute Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients
-
2 to 3 lb. meat
1 small bottle Catalina dressing
1 Vidalia onion, thinly sliced
1/4 c. red wine and vinegar oil
4 Tbsp. ketchup
2 tsp. garlic powder or 2 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. barbecue sauce (any kind)
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash of seasoned salt
Preparation
-
Cut meat into strips.
Mix together all ingredients and pour over meat.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
Cook meat in sauce on stove or on grill until finished.
If cooking on grill, use aluminum foil or put sauce in pan and heat separately.
Can also be baked in oven if using a whole beef roast.
This can be used for London broil, beef roasts and thinly sliced chipped steak meat.
