Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 green peppers
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. hamburg
    1 large onion, diced
    1 c. Minute rice
    1 (12 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. garlic powder
    1 small (6 oz.) Hunt's sauce (optional)
Preparation
    Cut peppers in half; remove seeds.
    In a large skillet, fill half with water; parboil peppers until tender.
    Mix in bowl hamburg, rice, garlic powder, diced onion and stewed tomatoes; mix well.
    Spoon mixture into pepper halves; place in baking pan. (Cover stuffed peppers with sauce, if desired.)
    Cover with aluminum foil.
    Bake 40 minutes in preheated 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serves 6.
