Famous Candy Bars(Tastes Like Baby Ruth) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white corn syrup
    6 c. cornflakes
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 c. salted peanuts
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
    In a saucepan, mix sugars and corn syrup over low heat.
    Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
    Add peanut butter and stir well.
    In a large mixing bowl, stir together cornflakes and salted peanuts. Add sugar-syrup mixture.
    Press firmly in a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Melt chocolate chips and spread over top.
    When cool, cut into squares or bars.
    Great church picnic dessert!
