Blueberry Batter Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. blueberries
juice of 2 lemons
1 c. milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Line well-greased pan with berries.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Cream sugar and shortening together.
Add milk alternately with flour, baking powder and salt, which have been sifted together.
Pour the batter over the berries.
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Sprinkle over top of cake.
Pour boiling water over all and bake in moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 1 hour.
Can use apple or fruit.
