Swedish Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    2 pkg. brown gravy mix with 2 c. water
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Soak bread crumbs in milk.
    Combine crumb mixture with meat, eggs and next 4 ingredients.
    Shape into balls, about 1-inch in diameter.
    Place on a broiler pan.
    Broil until brown, turning once.
    Place meatballs into slow cooker.
    Add brown gravy mixture and pepper.
    Cook on low 4 hours.
    Yield:
    3 dozen meatballs.
    May serve with rice.
