Layer Salad(Use 9 X 12-Inch Pan) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen green peas
    lettuce
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    bacon
    1 c. green chopped green peppers
    1 c. sliced thin Spanish onion (sweet)
    2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
    4 oz. pkg. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Rinse lettuce in ice water and dry.
    Put the chopped lettuce over the bottom of the pan.
    Layer celery, peppers, peas and onions over the lettuce.
    Spread salad dressing over the ingredients.
    Sprinkle sugar and Cheddar cheese on top.
    Fry bacon crisp and put on top or use bacon chips.
    Cover well with foil and refrigerate.
    Can be made 24 hours before using.
