Ingredients

3 large onions
2 Tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic
croutons or French bread
chicken or beef broth
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
pepper
garlic powder
thyme
Swiss or Provolone cheese
Preparation

Saute
onions
and
garlic in butter until light brown. Simmer broth for 12 minutes with onions, then pour into bowls. Add
bread and top with cheese.
Broil until golden brown and bubbling.
