Beef Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 lb. beef brisket
    1 jar chili sauce
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 pkg. dry onion soup
    1 large onion, quartered
    new potatoes and carrots
Preparation
    Place brisket in roasting pan.
    Sprinkle with garlic salt. Rub chili sauce over meat and sprinkle with dry onion soup, spreading evenly.
    Add enough water to cover bottom of pan. Place onion around roast.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for about 4 hours.
    During last hour, add whole new potatoes and carrots.
